Privacy
ABRAnews keeps as little about its readers as a news site can. This page says what it keeps, why, and how to have it removed. Questions go to hello@abranews.com.
Reading
Reading the site leaves nothing with us. There are no accounts, no advertising and no trackers that follow you across the web. The site keeps a few things in your own browser only: your language, your votes and which stories you have already read. They never leave your device, and clearing the site's data in your browser removes them.
Votes
A vote under a story is anonymous. Your browser makes itself a random key so that one device counts once per story. To stop vote stuffing we keep, for one hour, a scrambled form of your network address that cannot be turned back into the address. We never know who voted for what.
The morning edition
If you subscribe, we keep your email address and the language you chose, and use them for that one letter a day. We do not sell or share the address. Every letter has an unsubscribe link, and one tap ends the letters. Write to hello@abranews.com to have the address deleted.
Visits
To know how many people read the site we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts visits without cookies and without identifying anyone.
Links to other sites
Every story links to the articles it is based on. Those sites have their own rules, which start the moment you leave ours.
